ANA M. CAFENGIU, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S.

Dr. Cafengiu enjoys working with patients of all ages in treating a variety of foot and ankle conditions. Having completed her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Philadelphia’s Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1997, she went on to complete a three year surgical residency at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ. Dr. Cafengiu was selected for a sports medicine fellowship at Virginia Mason Sports Medicine Center, in Seattle Washington which she completed in 2001. Known as “Dr. Ana” to most of her patients, Dr. Cafengiu is an avid runner and has often been “consulted” on long runs discussing podiatric issues and their solutions while logging miles. She is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and also is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. In addition, she is an Associate Member of the American Podiatric Sports Medicine Association and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Cafengiu served as the Chairperson of the Southern Division of the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society. She received her undergraduate degree from Houghton College, New York. Dr. Cafengiu is married with one daughter. In her free time she enjoys travel to anywhere in the world, rock climbing and mountaineering to any peaks she can find, and attempting to grow the “perfect figs” in her yard.

JESSICA HARMON

JESSICA HARMON is our office manager and the voice on the other end of the phone. She strives to assist each patient with their specific needs in scheduling appointments, taking and returning messages, and helping to navigate patients through the world of referrals and health insurance. Jessica is an avid reader. She enjoys a variety of music and attending music festivals. In the summer, she tries to spend as much time as possible in a body of water, be it the ocean or a pool.
