ANA M. CAFENGIU, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S. Dr. Cafengiu enjoys working with patients of all ages in treating a variety of foot and ankle conditions. Having completed her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Philadelphia’s Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1997, she went on to complete a three year surgical residency at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ. Dr. Cafengiu was selected for a sports medicine fellowship at Virginia Mason Sports Medicine Center, in Seattle Washington which she completed in 2001. Known as “Dr. Ana” to most of her patients, Dr. Cafengiu is an avid runner and has often been “consulted” on long runs discussing podiatric issues and their solutions while logging miles. She is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and also is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. In addition, she is an Associate Member of the American Podiatric Sports Medicine Association and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Cafengiu served as the Chairperson of the Southern Division of the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society. She received her undergraduate degree from Houghton College, New York. Dr. Cafengiu is married with one daughter. In her free time she enjoys travel to anywhere in the world, rock climbing and mountaineering to any peaks she can find, and attempting to grow the “perfect figs” in her yard.
JENNIFER J SPECTOR, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S. Dr. Spector has joined the team at Cafengiu Podiatry & Sports Medicine and adds her expertise to the practice. Dr. Spector received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia and completed a three year surgical residency at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware. There she served as chief resident in her third year. Dr. Spector is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. She is also a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. A published author, Dr. Spector is passionate about educating her patients and the community on podiatric related topics. She has continued her childhood love of dance as an adult and continues to perform and compete in tap and jazz. She is extremely knowledgeable about dance related injuries and is and often sought out by fellow dancers as their "doc on call." Dr. Spector is married and has one son. She enjoys reading, practicing yoga and spending quality time with her family.
DEBBIE KING is a certified podiatric medical assistant and licensed podiatric x-ray technician. She can do it all; from taking x-rays to smoothing nails to fitting a patient for a fracture boot. Dubbed “Debbie Sunshine” because of her upbeat personality and warmth, Debbie’s goal is to work closely with patients to make sure they understand all the doctor’s instructions before they leave the office. When she is not “shining” in the office, Debbie enjoys running, reading her Kindle, watching baseball & cheering for the Phillies of course, and cruising in the Caribbean with her husband.
JESSICA HARMON is our office manager and the voice on the other end of the phone. She strives to assist each patient with their specific needs in scheduling appointments, taking and returning messages, and helping to navigate patients through the world of referrals and health insurance. Jessica is an avid reader. She enjoys a variety of music and attending music festivals. In the summer, she tries to spend as much time as possible in a body of water, be it the ocean or a pool.
